Setup FAQ
How does setup work?
Setup is done for you. We start with a 30-minute call, then we write Vela's knowledge base from your website, pricing and policies, install the chat bubble on your site with one line of code, and connect your phone line. You review everything before it goes live. Most businesses are live within a few days.
Do I need any technical skills?
No. We handle the setup. If you can forward a phone number and paste one line of code (or let us do it), you're set.
Is there a contract?
No. Both plans are month to month and you can cancel anytime.
Can I change what Vela says?
Anytime. Send us the change and we update both chat and phone, usually the same day. Prices, dates, policies, new FAQs, all of it.
What websites does the chat work on?
Any website you can add a line of code to: Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or a custom site. We can install it for you.
